Awesome Album. With really catchy guitar riffs and very good vocals, songs like Souljacker Part 1 and Dog Faced Boy, Souljacker would have to be my favourite albums. I love E's approach to this album, i am always finding new instruments he experiments withs in each song (eg Friendly Ghost and that weird intro), and this all makes up for a VERY listenable album/5(42).

The songwriting of Eels frontman E comes into sharp focus on 's SOULJACKER, without an iota of compromise to the band's quirky, noise-touched rock. In fact, SOULJACKER finds the Eels expanding their palette with even more off-kilter arrangements and unusual instrumentation/5(41).
